LEXI is a theatrical, feminist filmmaker with a passion for poetic, femme narratives and a detailed eye for evocative image-based work that is authentic yet highly stylized and expressionistic.

She thrives on exploration in her work and is discovering her own Mike Leigh style approach to filmmaking through extensive improvised character and relationship studies with her actors. These "studies" become the backbone of her films that she continues to sculpt into a script while simultaneously developing the look and feel of the camera with her cinematographer.

In a world and industry that can often takes advantage of it's professionals, LEXI believes in running a set driven by open dialogue, collaboration, transparency, safety and empowering individual creativity.
