It was during this time that LEXI transitioned from theatre into filmmaking as a way to expand as a visual artist and storyteller. She began directing and producing short films/documentaries until her acceptance into University of Southern California’s MFA Film and Television Production program in 2022.
At USC, she focused on developing her skills as a director working on short films, trailers and music videos including her own short film, The Melody She Brings. During her time at school, she has also utilized her background in fabrication and design and was the Production Designer/Art Director on various short films.
She was an undergrad at Ithaca College and furthered her studies at the Eugene O'Neill Theatre Center's National Theater Institute with continued education at the MXAT studio in Moscow, Russia.
